Center For Relational Leadership

Who Are We?

We at Intimate Life Ministries have recognized the need for the church in the 21st Century to become more relevant to the world around us. Relevancy results from knowing the significant challenges with which those around us are struggling.

As our culture becomes more mobile, more technologically advanced, and moves at a faster pace people are becoming more disconnected relationally. The most critical issues people will face in the coming century will be, at their heart, relational in nature. This is nothing new. The same has been true since Adam and Eve. What is different is that more people today than ever before are dreadfully ill prepared with the relational skills necessary to navigate these challenges.

The church needs to be prepared to address people’s needs where they sense them the most. This is why it is so important for the church to have a breadth of ministry that touches their marriages, parenting, single-relationships, and others. For many people the workplace is becoming what the neighborhood was in times past. Their closest relationships—such as they are—are in the workplace. For them, the question of relevance will be, “What help do you have to offer me to deal with business and work-place relationships?”

The Center for Relational Leadership was established to speak to the relevance of biblical relational principles to business. The message to businesses is that great relational skills can and will impact many areas…customer loyalty, employee morale, productivity, and ultimately the bottom line. As businesses train their employees in these skills it will improve their quality of life and have a positive impact on their families and their community.

The Center for Relational Leadership is an organization dedicated to develop resources and provide training to help businesses and organizations equip their managers and teams address 21st Century challenges.

Resources currently available include Great Commandment Business, Business as UnUsual, and Relational Leadership. We also offer half-day orientation conferences that introduce the basic principles of Business as UnUsual. In addition, we offer training and are developing an accreditation process for business consultants. A four-day Leadership Institute provides an opportunity for a team of coworkers to come together for relational skills training, serious team building, and deep personal development.
