In one of the most defining moments of his ministry, Jesus was asked which commandment was the greatest. He answered, " 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' " (Matthew 22:37-39, NASB). This is the message of the Great Commandment.net – to love God and to love others, beginning first with a deeper understanding of the God who loves you.
