Sam Warren

Dr. Sam Warren was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, prior to attending and graduating from Berkshire Christian College, Lenox, Massachusetts (1975) with a BA in Theology. After a few years in pastoral ministry, Sam studied and graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, South Hamilton, Massachusetts, with an M. Divinity degree (1982).

 

Ten years later, Sam graduated from G.C.T.S with a Doctor of Ministry degree, focusing on Conflict Resolution (1993). For more than 30 years, he has served the church both locally in a pastoral role and internationally as a teacher and ministry consultant. Beginning in 2006, he served as the Advent Christian General Conference of America Director of Nurture. In 2016, Sam retired from ACGC and began a Christian ministry, called Far More Consulting, INC.

 

This ministry is committed to helping the church and other ministries become healthy, especially as it relates to fulfilling the Lord’s Great and Everyday Commission of making disciples who make disciples (Matthew 28:16–20).

 

Sam has written three books: Dead Men Talking: What Dying Teaches us about Living, The Alexander Antidote: Turning Conflict into a Prescription of Wholeness for the Local Church, and most recently, A Motley Crew: How Jesus turned Ordinary Men into Dynamic Disciples. Sam and his wife, Michele Ann Kellogg, live in Jacksonville, Florida, and have two adult sons, Jared and Darrick.
